First-time mother and supermodel Gisele Bundchen has claimed that breastfeeding her baby boy helped get her back in shape.
The supermodel, who gave birth to son Benjamin in December, shared her opinion on the never-ending debate between the benefits of breastfeeding versus feeding a baby formula.
“Some people (in the US) think they don”t have to breastfeed, and I think, ”Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?”” the New York Daily News quoted Bundchen as telling Harper”s Bazaar UK.
She added, “I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months.”
The Brazilian beauty, who is married to NFL hunk Tom Brady, also said that it was very easy to give birth.
Thanks to some meditating, the model said the eight-hour natural birthing process “didn”t hurt in the slightest.”
“It prepared me mentally and physically. It”s called ”labor” not ”holiday” for a reason, and I knew that,” she said.
“You want to go into the most intense physical experience of your life unprepared? That doesn”t make any sense to me.
“Then I was ready and I thought OK, let”s get to work.
“I wasn”t expecting someone else to get the baby out of me, she continued.

Mel Gibson’s ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva has claimed that Gibson was physically abusive towards his first wife also.
Grigorieva also claims that she has seen the actor hitting his youngest son, Tommy.
Quoting a source “familiar with” the law enforcement investigation into Gibson”s behavior, Grigorieva, 40, claims she saw the actor hit Tommy, his youngest child from his first marriage. The incident purportedly occurred two-and-a-half years ago at a hockey game in Los Angeles, according to RadarOnline.com.
“She [Grigorieva] said that Mel, in her presence, hit Tommy, in the head, while they were in a box watching a hockey game…Tommy started crying and whimpered for the remainder of the game, choosing to sit by himself, away from his father,” the New York Post quoted the source as telling the entertainment website.
A Russian newspaper, Komsomolskaya Pravda , reported that Grigorieva had alleged Gibson told her he had thrown a television at his first wife, Robyn Gibson, during a heated argument.
However, Robyn has previously defended her husband of 28 years, following the release of a series of explosive recorded phone calls between the actor and his ex-girlfriend.
The mother of seven of Gibson’s children denied the “Lethal Weapon” star was ever physically abusive during their marriage.
“Mel never engaged in any physical abuse of any kind toward me before, during or after our marriage,” she wrote in a statement filed in a California court, TMZ reported.
“Mel was a wonderful and loving father,” Robyn added.
Lady Gaga has revealed that she avoids having sex for fear that someone could steal her ”creativity”.
The eccentric singer, 24, who recently reunited with her ex Luc Carl, says she is trying to avoid sex for a rather off-beat reason.
“I have this weird thing that if I sleep with someone they”re going to take my creativity from me through my vagina,” the New York Daily News quoted her as telling Vanity Fair magazine.
And despite her legion of devoted fans, Gaga admits that she”s “perpetually lonely.”
“I”m lonely when I”m in relationships. It”s my condition as an artist,” she says. “I”m drawn to bad romances. And my song [‘Bad Romance’] is about whether I go after those [sort of relationships] or if they find me. I”m quite celibate now; I don”t really get time to meet anyone,” she added.
Cheryl Cole has changed her name to Lily English after fleeing to US to record tracks for her second album.

Despite doctors ordering the Girls Aloud singer to rest up following her battle with the potentially fatal bug, the X Factor judge has told friends she’s determined to get back to work.
“Cheryl is going under the name of Lily English while she’s in LA. She hates using her surname of Cole,” the Daily Star quoted a friend as saying.
“It’s not a permanent name change but you never know – if she does like it she might stick with Lily English!” friend added.

Shakira has launched her new fragrance, ‘S by Shakira’, which she claims to be as unique as her own songs.
Shakira, the newest addition to Hollywood’s roster of celebrity perfumers, has bottled her famous sex appeal for her new fragrance.
“The type of women who feel a connection with this fragrance would be independent and strong, but also a woman with a great capacity to love and a strong sense of who they are. It’s for a woman who believes in herself,” People quoted her as saying.
The Grammy Award winner has collaborated with Puig to explore her delicate side with a scent that exudes simplicity, sensuality and self.
The fragrance’s signature notes are bright jasmine, sandalwood and an oriental dream housed in a luminous bottle that evokes an oriental dancer.
“Like one of my songs, I wanted S by Shakira to tell a story, and to be something personal and unique. A perfume has to really reflect something inside you, make you connect with it in an emotional way,” she added.
‘S by Shakira’ will hit shelves in September, with prices ranging from 17 dollars to 35 dollars.
But from the sound of it, Shakira is looking for a cadre of hit scents to join her platinum records, exclaiming, “S by Shakira is only the beginning!”
