Madonna”s 13-year-old daughter Lourdes is keen to live on her own and is expected to move out in the next 12 months.
Lourdes, also known as Lola, is planning to become an entertainer, just like her mother and is believed to join New York”s LaGuardia High School of Music n Art and Performing Arts later this year.
Lola, the upcoming star, thinks that she is mature enough to live on her own and is keen to convince her mother to let her spread her wings.
“Lola has always been quite outspoken but still pretty obedient. Like most teenagers, she”s now starting to rebel,” Stuff.co.nz quoted a source as telling the National Enquirer magazine.
“It seems she”s fed up with Madonna controlling everything she does.
“She”s telling whoever will listen that, by next year, hopefully she”ll be able to persuade her mom that she needs her own place,” the source added.
It has been reported that Lourdes is keen to pursue a career in acting and even won a place at New York”s ”Fame” high school after impressing the board during a private audition.
However, the school has not revealed if Lourdes has been admitted to its student body.
The on-off romance between Madonna and Jesus Luz is back on, suggest reports.
According to sources, the 51-year-old pop star’s Brazilian beau flew into London and is now ‘residing’ in her 6-million-pound Marble Arch pad.
He has already been out partying at the Aura nightclub in Mayfair, reports The Telegraph.
“He danced all night with a variety of girls,” said a source.
“He made a friend, too, of the Big Issue vendor outside the club, to whom he gave a 5-pound note for the latest issue, which he read eagerly,” the source added.
Madonna could be the next in line as one of the judges on American Idol.
Now that Simon Cowell is planning to bid farewell to the show after 9 years, Idol boss Simon Fuller is keen to fill the X-factor chief’s shoes – and he wants a big name.
The Queen of Pop tops Fuller’s wish list to take the music mogul’s place on the judging panel.
“Simon is going to leave a gaping hole. Not only is he an expert, he”s also a big star in the States.
“Everyone agrees Madge would be great and they want her as a full-time judge. But if that fails they”d at least like her as a mentor,” The Sun quoted a source as saying.
Fuller is facing another challenge – the show’s ratings have taken a nosedive and filming for the next series has been pushed back to September as bosses search for a new judge.
Cowell, on the other hand, is nostalgic as he is quitting after judging the show for 9 long years.
But he feels his replacement needs to be someone who “actually knows what they”re talking about”.
‘Material Girl’ singer Madonna landed herself a ticket during a night out after she parked her car on a double yellow line in Mayfair.
Madonna, 51, had organised a thank you party for her tour dancers, which started with dinner at the exclusive Supperclub in Notting Hill and moved on to Aura nightclub, reports the Sun.
She is said to have racked up a 10,000-pound bar bill by ordering Cristal champagne, with lit sparklers attached, and shots while her entourage held dance offs.
And when she left the nightclub, she was shocked to find a ticket for 120 pounds on the black car.

Queen of Pop Madonna has blasted a Malawi judge for sentencing a couple to 14 years of hard labour in prison just because they are gay.
Madonna, 51, who was clearly shaken by the conviction and harsh sentencing of openly gay Tiwonge Chimbalanga, 20, and Steven Monjeza, 26, expressed her shock and disappointment.
“I am shocked and saddened by the decision made by the Malawian court, which sent two innocent men to prison,” the New York Daily News quoted her as saying in a statement posted on her web site on May 21.
“Malawi took a giant step backward. The world is filled with pain and suffering; therefore, we must support out basic human right to love and be loved.
“I call upon the progressive men and women of Malawi – and around the world – to challenge this decision in the name of human dignity and equal rights for all,” she added.
The two men were arrested under Malawi’s colonial-era laws banning homosexuality after throwing an engagement party at the hotel where Chimbalanga worked.
The two were taken into custody on December 27, convicted May 18 and sentenced May 20 to the maximum term.
Their lawyer said the two men will appeal the conviction.
Madonna turned down an offer to do a cameo in an episode of Glee – a show dedicated to the Queen of Pop – because she had never heard about the show.
Producers of the show were excited when they got the permission from the singer’s team to use her back catalogue in one of their episodes.
It was later found out that the nod did not come from Madonna directly, reports The Daily Express.
“Madonna doesn”t have a TV and has no idea what Glee is. The show producers did ask her if she wanted to make an appearance in the much-hyped Madonna episode,” a source told popeater.com.
“She said, ”No thanks”, and to be honest she would rather sing an Elton John song than butcher one of hers,” the source added.
Madonna”s daughter Lourdes Leon will reportedly enrol at LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts next fall.
According to US Weekly, Madonna, 51, said that Lourdes, 13, who already takes acting classes in Manhattan, was admitted to a “performing-arts high school” and would major in drama.
The singer”s publicist, Liz Rosenberg, would only confirm Lourdes is likely to attend a school in the city.
“They live here now. Madonna didn”t tell me, and I know she”s not going to tell,” the New York Daily News quoted her as saying.
Students at LaGuardia, which has become known as the “Fame” school, said they heard they might soon be in class with Madonna”s daughter.
And staff are giving coy responses when questioned.
“I”ve asked,” Luther Cherry, 16, a member of student government, said.
“School officials said, ”We don”t know until students show up”,” Cherry stated.
But even before she may attend her first day of classes, Lourdes is a source of controversy.
Students said she had been given a private audition – and therefore shielded from the pressure of a public one, sparking concerns about preferential treatment.
“A lot of kids are talking about how she had an advantage,” Brittany Evans, 14, a freshman drama major, said.
“LaGuardia is a great school. It really is, but I think that sometimes it wants to be more of a ”Fame” school,” she stated.
City Education Department officials were completely mum on whether Lourdes might join the ranks of the city”s 1.1 million public school kids, citing privacy, and LaGuardia officials also did not respond to requests for comment.
Some students were ready to welcome Lourdes – and the possibility of her multimillionaire mom”s largesse.
“I hope she comes in handy for when they come around for parent donations,” Karem Penalo, 16, a junior arts major, added.
