Emma Bunton has denied that she said a new Spice Girls movie is in the making.

“Guys I”m sorry but I DID NOT mention that we would be doing another film,” the New York Post quoted her as saying.

The rumours about the film started making rounds after she apparently told a journalist that the group had hired Mamma Mia! director Judy Craymer to make the new movie.

“Now we”re all involved in the new Spice Girls film, which is being done by Judy Craymer and the team behind Mamma Mia!,” she reportedly said.

The reports even named the new film – Viva Forever.

However, the former Baby Spice has dismissed the tale.

“Sorry. But we r (sic) very excited about r (sic) musical in the theatre!” she tweeted.

Jessica Biel believes that food is like a drug.

“I really feel like food is a drug. When I’m not eating properly, I have less energy – my body looks different, which means it looks different on film. I look different through my face. I think about those kinds of things and I want to feel more than it is the vanity part of it,” the Daily Telegraph quoted her as telling the OK! magazine.

“I want to feel I can go 18 hours on set, if we have to, working, working, working, and feel confident about my health. So when I’m working, I’m really disciplined. When I’m not working, I’m very undisciplined,” she added.

The 28-year-old beauty revealed that she loves tucking into her favourite foods, but is restricted to what she can eat.

“I love food, love it. But I’m really disciplined and boring most of the time. It’s so true!” she added.

Nicole Richie and Christina Aguilera recently left their kids and men at home for some girls-only fun.

Wearing cleavage-bearing tops, both Richie and Aguilera entered L.A. hotspot Voyeur with some friends and bodyguards.

The two stars settled into a corner VIP table and sipped champagne.

“They chatted the whole time,” Usmagazine.com quoted Voyeur witness as saying.

“They were sitting on top of the banquette, listening to the music and chatting.

“They looked like they were having fun. At one point, the friends high-fived one another and were “laughing hysterically,” the witness added.

Bob Geldof has been presented with an honorary university degree for his contribution to culture.

The former Boomtown Rats star donned a traditional cap and gown when officials at the University of Kent in Canterbury gave him the Master of Arts accolade.

And Geldof was pleased to accept the degree.

“It”s great to also receive recognition from UCA for the creative work that I”ve been doing for the past 35 years. I live up the road, so to be recognized by a local university, in the region that I love, adds even greater significance for me. I wouldn”t have accepted this award if it didn”t mean anything to me,” the Daily Star quoted the Live Aid organizer as saying.

Mel Gibson”s ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva apparently told authorities investigating the actor for alleged domestic abuse that he said to her at one point, “I want Jew blood on my hands.”

The actor, during a 2006 DUI arrest said Jews were to blame for all the wars in the world, allegedly launched into a rant against a high-profile Hollywood figure who is Jewish and who the Gibson believed had “publicly humiliated” him.

“Oksana says Mel told her, ‘I want Jew blood on my hands,’ and said he wanted the person taken to the desert, stripped naked, kneecapped and left in the heat,” the New York Post quoted a source as telling RadarOnline.com.

Grigorieva also told authorities that Gibson hired individuals to place the target of his anti-Semitic rant under surveillance.

She told authorities the story because, she said, she was afraid he was “capable of having me followed or harmed.”

‘Salt’ stunt trainer Simon Crane has revealed that Angelina Jolie, who is one of the biggest stars in the world, can be stubborn.

“During her final fight Liev [Schrieber]…She had to dive through an opening door firing a gun…as she carried the sequence on, she rushed into a corner piece of a set and bumped her head,” Usmagazine.com quoted Crane as telling the Self magazine.

The fight sequence was delayed, and Jolie took “a precautionary trip to the hospital — arguing against it all the way…she can be stubborn!”

Crane has worked with Jolie on numerous films and has said that the veteran action star does 99 pc of her own stunts, occasionally using a stunt double, Eunice.

English rock band The Rolling Stones are set to hang up their mikes after 50-years in music by holding a giant farewell tour.

The band, which formed in 1962, will hold the world tour from next year and it will continue on till 2012 when they will celebrate their half-century.

The four will have a combined age of 268, with drummer Charlie Watts celebrating his 70th birthday on the tour.

Bandmates Ronnie Wood, 63, Keith Richards and Mick Jagger, both 66, agree the milestones make it the right moment to call it a day, and they are in talks with promoters Live Nation about the tour.

“They’re likely to perform in stadiums. It’s almost certainly the last full-scale world tour,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.

“The band realise that age is creeping up on them. They want to bow out on top of their game, and not short-change their fans,” the source added.
