Hollywood actor Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes are considering appearing on a reality TV reality show to prove that their family is “normal”.

“They want to portray themselves as a normal family who do normal things,” News.com.au quoted a source as telling Britain”s Grazia magazine.

“They are aware that Katie is being perceived as ”brainwashed” and they want to change that,” the source added.

However, Cruise has insisted that he will have complete control of the footage and the final say on what is aired.

American actor Morgan Freeman paid tribute to former South African president Nelson Mandela on his 92nd birthday by joining a group of bikers for a charity road trip across the country.

Mandela celebrated his 92nd birthday on 18th July 2010.

His fans all over world devoted 67 minutes to mark the 67 years Mandela spent in politics.

Freeman, who played Mandela in the movie ‘Invictus’, joined a group of 20 bikers for a road trip from Johannesburg to Cape Town, taking part in community projects in between, including building a fence at an AIDS centre.

The 73-year-old actor promised to continue his good work as a tribute to his hero.

“I take it as my connection to Madiba. We should do it everyday. We’re trying to head for a world where there’s peace and where we can teach our children about integrity of this vision,” The Daily Star quoted Freeman as saying.

Liam Gallagher has revealed that he started idolising legendary Beatles singer John Lennon after his death in 1980.

The former Oasis frontman said that he was mesmerised by poignant images of Lennon during TV tributes.

Gallagher was a follower of Lennon from the early days of his career, styling his vocals and dressing like him.

But Gallagher admitted that he only began idolising Lennon after his death when he saw the promo for Imagine during a news report into the Beatle’s assassination.

“I was eight and I remember coming downstairs and seeing Imagine on the telly, which was pretty haunting,” the Daily Star quoted Gallagher as telling The Sunday Times.

“I like Lennon’s voice. It’s all about his voice, I don’t care whether he was into peace, or into Yoko, I don”t care how big his k**b was or whether he had one ball or f**king three balls, I just like his voice.

“It moves me, makes me sad, makes me happy, makes me angry, makes me whatever,” he added.

Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue has revealed that it’s unimaginable for her to wear Lady Gaga”s “outlandish outfits.”

The 42 -year-old star is currently promoting her latest album ‘Aphrodite.’

Minogue said she is adventurous with her fashion choices for photo shoots and when she performs on stage, but “could never do that full time,”

“I wouldn”t walk along a street in Chelsea in satellite dish sunglasses…That”s just not me,” the New York Post quoted Minogue as telling OK! Magazine.

Minogue took a break from promoting her album when she flew to Australia to meet her nephew, the newborn nephew Ethan, son of sister Dannii, for the first time, Sky News reported.

American singer Britney Spears has been cleared of child abuse allegations.

A former bodyguard of the 28-year-old singer accused her of beating sons Sean Preston, 4, and Jayden James, 3.

Fernando Flores claimed that Britney asked him for his belt and used it on the children.

He also accused the ‘Toxic’ hitmaker of giving them food they were allergic to and also said that she sexually harassed him by walking around naked, reports The Sun.

But Los Angeles social workers found there was no credibility of the abuse accusations.

“Flores is an opportunist,” a family source said.

Pakistani pop singer Atif Aslam has revealed that he will soon work with renowned American hard rock band ‘Guns N’ Roses’ on a fusion project.

Terming the project a milestone in his singing career, Aslam said that he would have the opportunity to work with the band’s former lead guitarist Slash, Gliby Clarke and Chris Martin, reports Dawn.com.

He even said that by collaborating with ‘Guns N’ Roses’, he would try to bring closer the people of the USA and Pakistan.

The pop singer also said that he would also like to invite other prominent Pakistani singers and musicians, including those doing classical music, to join hands with him when it came to work with the western musicians.

He also admitted that he had recorded a Punjabi track with some of the band members, which was his own composition.

Lindsay Lohan will reportedly serve only 14 days of her 90-day jail sentence.

According to police documents, Lohan will only serve 14 days due to prison overcrowding, reported The Los Angeles Times.

In a short hearing Tuesday, judge Marsha Revel forbade Lohan from being released early under a work release or electronic monitoring program, reports the New York Post.

The actress’ inmate information form on the Los Angeles County Sheriff””s Department website still listed a projected release date of Sept. 9, 2010.
