Hollywood actor Jude Law has settled a legal dispute with ex-wife Sadie Frost over her autobiography.

The Alfie actor launched legal action against her upcoming book in a desperate bid to protect their children”s privacy.

He wanted to block certain passages in Frost”s autobiography and remove photos of his children to shield them from the glare of publicity.

However, the case was settled on Tuesday when the pair agreed terms and a judge at London”s High Court granted a permanent injunction by consent.

“Sadie is getting used to Jude”s fiercely protective position on anything to do with their children as he is determined to do everything he can to provide them with a normal childhood out of the glare of publicity,” the Daily Star quoted a friend of the pair as saying.

“It was never Jude”s intention to block the publication of the entire book. He just wanted to shield his children from the spotlight,” an insider close to Law added.

Aussie singer Peter Andre feared that he was having a heart attack after he collapsed in agony on Wednesday.

The ‘Mysterious Girl’ hitmaker was hit by ‘a bolt of pain’ while out jogging close to his house in East Grinstead, West Sussex.

It is believed that Andre went out for a 5.30am run before slumping to the ground in agony.

An onlooker helped Peter to get back to his house, where his brother Mike called an ambulance.

“Pete was doing his usual morning run round the private estate where he lives when he felt a crippling pain,” the Sun quoted a pal as saying.

“He screamed out in agony and crumpled to the ground clutching his chest. He thought he was having a heart attack.

Paramedics found that the 37-year-old had injured muscles in his chest.

The pal added: “It”s not serious but the pain is immense.”

Sir Elton John has said that he wants to make different music now – music that will ‘fit’ his age.

The Rocket Man, who is in his 60s, has decided to move away from “pop” and concentrate on producing mature albums instead.

“In the ”70s, ”80s and ”90s, the record companies said you had to have a single. I think I”ve fulfilled my brief. I don”t have to make pop records any more. The singles chart is not one I”m going to be in very often any more, so my view is to make records that fit my age.

Johnny Depp has finally landed a long awaited role of a rock star in a new movie.

The actor is all set to play out his rock ”n” roll dream on the big screen after reportedly landing the lead role in upcoming film Sonny Boy.

According to The Sun, the movie tells the story of a rocker who scores a hit with an old song and embarks on a mission to find the track”s original writer, reports The Daily Star.

Depp’s tryst with music began when he left school, playing with several rock groups before turning his attention to acting.

The Hollywood star played with band Babybird on their recent album and reportedly entering negotiations to launch his own record label.

Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina has said that the judges decision of sentencing her daughter for 90 days in jail is unfair.

“This is so not fair to do this to my child,” the New York Daily News quoted Dina as telling PopEater.

Putting the differences aside, even Lohan’s father Michael has expressed grief over the ordeal but wants Lohan to join rehab for her better.

“[Jail] is the last thing I wanted for my daughter,” he told RadarOnline.com.

“These [prescription] drugs are killing my daughter and killing millions of kids in America, and someone has to stop it.

“Lindsay needs to go into a rehab that takes you off prescription drugs, not puts you on them.

“But at the same time, [I feel a] little satisfaction that she”s going to a rehab. But the last thing in the world I wanted was for my daughter to go to jail.”

“This girl needs a rehab, she needs help. If Lindsay”s lawyer and Lindsay would have just listened to us, she would have been in a rehab, she would have been on a the way to being clean and sober and have her life back. Instead, she got jail and rehab,” he added.

Britney Spears has admitted that she’s dreading the moment when she’ll have to talk about sex with her sons Sean Preston, 4, and Jayden James, 3.

The singer has even revealed that she is enjoying her motherhood and would not allow her kids to enter the showbiz until they turn 30.

“Things are pretty quiet right now. I”ve been spending a lot of time at home with my boys. They just started karate class, which is super cute!” the Daily Telegraph quoted her as telling to Cosmopolitan.

“If my sons told me they wanted to be in the entertainment business, I”d lock them in their rooms until they turned 30.

“I”m dreading the moment when my sons ask me how babies are made,” she added.

Australian singer Dannii Minogue has given birth to a baby boy.

According to the Herald Sun, Dannii, 38, and her FIT model boyfriend Kris Smith welcomed their baby, named Ethan Edward Smith, in Melbourne on July 5.

“Kris Smith and Dannii Minogue are thrilled to announce the arrival of Ethan Edward Smith on 5 July 2010,” the Mirror quoted a spokesperson for the couple as saying.

“Mother and baby are doing well and dad is very proud. They request their privacy at this special time to adjust as new parents,” the spokesperson added.
