Shoe store suing LiLo over unpaid bills

Posted on: July 1, 2010

Lindsay Lohan is being sued by a shoe store over unpaid bills.

According to a lawsuit to be filed, Lohan concocted a diabolical, fraudulent plan to defraud an L.A. boutique out of thousands of dollars.

In suit, Tough as Nails — a boutique that sells expensive clothes, jewellery, and accessories – has claimed that the actress has shopped at their store between November 2009 and February 2010 and racked up a bill of 17,060.83 dollars, according to TMZ.

The suit also alleges the actress convinced the owners that her business manager would pay the bill. But much to the chagrin of the owners, Lindsay”s business manager paid just 180 dollars.

The suit even alleges that Lindsay “had no intention of causing her business manager to pay the entire balance,” reports Fox news.

The owners say Lindsay committed premeditated fraud and are seeking the balance — 16,880.63 dollars — plus interest and punitive damages.
