britney spearsIt has been revealed that fans at pop princess Britney Spears’ concert at Madison Square Garden had to be evicted from the show for dancing “too provocatively” at their seats.

Of those, who had been yanked out by security guards on August 25, was Sandra Ion, a Dramatics hair salon manager.

“I guess there had been a complaint from someone in our section that our dancing was too risqué,” the New York Post quoted her as saying.

“Meanwhile, Britney is onstage gyrating half-naked and singing ‘Get Naked’. It was totally ridiculous. They should have just moved whoever complained instead of all of us,” she added.

Ion said that guards forced her and her pals, including Amanda Lapore’s stylist Harliquin, to miss three songs, and Garden management refused to reimburse them.

A representative for the Garden did not return a call for comment.

katie price aka jorden5Former model Katie Price’s lover Alex Reid reportedly became livid when he came to know about her lewd texts to her former secret Brazilian toy boy.

After it was revealed that Jordan had an affair with 25-year-old banker Andre Pinto, her cage fighter boyfriend, Reid, 34, decided to question her about it.

Pinto had revealed that Jordan only wanted sex in the dark, hated having her boobs touched, demanded he sent her naked snaps and had sent him vulgar text messages.

“Alex was shocked by the explicit texts. He wasn’t happy and let Katie know. She had a lot of explaining to do,” the Sun quoted a source close to Reid as saying.

Reid’s agent Chris Herbert added: “The contents of the texts were flagged up to Alex. He has no comment.”

Mischa BartonBritish actress Mischa Barton has revealed what led to her being admitted into a rehab.

Barton, 23, revealed that the travelling she had to do abroad for her work, and the surgery she had to undergo to remove four of her wisdom teeth, was just too much for her to handle, and she ended up getting admitted into Cedars.

“Yeah, I went through a tough spot where everything compounded on me, and it was like a perfect storm, like everything was happening to me at once,” Time Out New York quoted her as saying in an exclusive interview.

“The show, travel and then this fairly routine surgery that went wrong—it’s still just healing. But I had to get through it without proper painkillers because I couldn’t take those during work. So it’s been a nightmare.

“I was down in the dumps about everything there for a while. Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom about things and have to get the most stressed-out just to feel better again.

“I got completely stressed-out and couldn’t handle everything, and now I feel really in control,” she added.

Asked whether she had an official nervous breakdown, Barton revealed that she had no idea what happened.

“I don’t know. I don’t know. I had a friend who had a quasi–nervous breakdown, but I’m not sure it’s the same thing. I’m not sure I’m capable of a full-on nervous breakdown, but it was pretty bad,” she said.

“It didn’t last that long. It was more about the pain. I have a newfound respect for people who have chronic pain. I started getting migraines,” she added.

Paula Abdul1Former American Idol judge Paula Abdul is reportedly in talks to bring a revue-style stage show to Sin City.

Abdul, 47, was rumoured last year to be in negotiations with executives at several Las Vegas casinos to headline a cheer-themed stage show in late 2009, reports the Daily Express.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Abdul is now seriously talking to The Venetian, the Wynn Las Vegas, and the Las Vegas Hilton to take residency in Sin City.

This is not the first time that Abdul has been in talks to star on the strip, she had also been on the verge of signing a deal with bosses at the Silverton Hotel in 2006 before talks fell through.

Britney Spears1Britney Spears has reportedly decided to take a little time off from her alleged relationship with Jason Trawick.

According to sources, the singer, who is currently on her Circus world tour, has told her current flame and longtime agent she wants to spend some time with herself.

“They are taking some time apart,” Contactmusic quoted a source as telling OKmagazine.com.

Another insider added: “She told him she needed to get back on her own two feet before moving forward. Jason was disappointed, but he understood.”

However, it may not necessarily mean that the relationship is over.

The insider added: “Jason”s always loved her, (even) since the Justin Timberlake days, so he won”t let her go easily. He”s giving her space – that”s what she”s asked for.”

71127J1_OSBOURNE_K_B_GR_03Kelly Osbourne first consumed drugs at the age of 13.

In her new book, Fierce, Kelly has revealed how her first experiences with prescription drugs led to a downward spiral that saw her in rehab four times in six years.

“I had my tonsils out. I was prescribed liquid Vicodin, a strong opiate like heroin, only available in America,” the Sun quoted her as saying.

“When I swallowed that tiny dose I felt relaxed and contented. I thought, “I like the feeling this drug gives me”. The prescription ran out, and that was the end of that.

“But, three years later, aged 16, I was at Hollywood club Las Palmas when an older guy I”d never seen before said, “Hey, want one of these?”.

He had a prescription bottle of pills that looked like Vicodin. I took a small white pill and swallowed it. ”

“I quickly felt I could talk to anyone. I was relaxed, happy and a bit tingly. It was the same feeling as when I had my tonsils out and I thought, “I”ve found my magic remedy”. The next morning, I called the guy and bought two or three pills for about 20 dollars,” she added.

The singer, who is the daughter of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, spoke about her rehabilitation experience too.

She added: “They checked me into the psychiatric ward at the UCLA Medical Institution in LA, where years later Britney Spears would be sectioned.

“I was so frightened – it was full of crazy people. As I curled up in a tight ball, the air was filled with ear-piercing screams. I didn”t leave my room for five days. It”s one of the scariest things I have ever done, but also one of the best.”

madonna1Hindus and Jews have applauded Queen of Pop Madonna who was booed and jeered by thousands of fans at a show in Romania on Aug 26, 09, after she protested the treatment of Roma gypsies in the country onstage.

Cheers gave way to jeers, when the ’Material Girl’ hitmaker paused midway before a sell-out crowd of about 60,000 in Bucharest during her song, part of her ongoing ‘Sticky and Sweet’ world tour, and touched on the plight of Roma people, showing the deeply entrenched prejudice against Roma in Europe, reports the Daily Express.

She said: “I”ve never been to Romania before and I am happy to be here. But I found out that there is a lot of discrimination against gypsies in eastern Europe and that makes me very sad, especially because we believe in acceptance, gypsies, homosexuals, people that are different. It makes me very sad. Everyone must be treated the same, don”t forget that.”

However, Hindu and Jewish leaders in her native America have come out in support of the singer.

In a joint statement, Hindu statesman Rajan Zed and Rabbi Jonathan B. Freirich have praised Madonna for at least trying to get a message across.

It reads, “Romania and Europe should apologise for the blatant show of prejudice shown towards Roma brothers and sisters when Madonna spoke against Roma discrimination during her concert in Bucharest.

“The alarming condition of Roma people is a social blight for Europe and the rest of the world as these people face social exclusion, racism, substandard education, hostility, joblessness, rampant illness, inadequate housing, lower life expectancy, unrest, living on desperate margins, language barriers, stereotypes, mistrust, rights violations, discrimination, marginalisation, appalling living conditions, prejudice, human rights abuse and racist slogans. ”

“It”s like an undeclared apartheid… The Roma issue should be one of the highest priorities of the human rights agenda of Europe and (the) world,” they added.

Zed and Rabbi Freirich have urged other Hollywood and entertainment celebrities of the world not to stay apathetic and silent spectators and use their status to highlight the apartheid conditions faced by about 15-million Roma people of Europe.
