Glamour girl Abbey Clancy has revealed that she needs at least thirty bikinis when she goes on holiday.

“You need options,” the Daily Star quoted the 24-year-old as saying.

The fiancee of Spurs and England striker Peter Crouch, 29, also admitted that she gets anxious about putting on the skimpy costumes.

“I have the same worries as everyone – that I have cellulite or that I look fat,” she said.

‘The Wrestler’ star Mickey Rourke has butted into the fight between actor Mel Gibson and his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva by calling her a “bitch”.

Grigorieva, 40, had come under verbal attack from Gibson, 54, who said she looked like a “f**king pig in heat”, and Rourke, 57, defended the ‘Mad Max’ star’s rant.

“Sh*t happens,” TMZ.com quoted Rourke as saying.

“I wouldn’t believe everything you hear … you know … I think he’s a good dude, you know. And ah, screw the bitch!” he added.

Cheryl Cole is clearly very busy these days. The singer wants to go to Los Angeles as soon as X Factor goes to the boot camp stage so that she can try to completely her second album.

Instead of taking a break after the auditions stage, Cole will rush to a California studio.

Girls Aloud pal Nicola Roberts has even written a track for her, which she hopes will end up on the album.

“Cheryl is champing at the bit to make more music so she”s doing everything to fit in sessions,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.

“The X Factor contestants she mentors will probably be flown to LA for boot camp so she can spend even more time making tunes,” the source added.

Mel Gibson’s film career seems to be in danger after he allegedly spouted vile racist abuse at his ex-lover.

Hollywood bosses say that his outburst against Oksana Grigorieva – the mum of his child – make him ‘a pariah’ while civil rights and women’s groups have called for a boycott of his movies.

“Last time he just managed to claw back his career. This time he will be a pariah,” the Mirror quoted one studio boss as saying.

“He offended not only women but a huge swathe of the public. Any Hollywood exec will fear a backlash if they use him,” he added.

Leon Jenkins, president of the Los Angeles branch of civil rights group NAACP, said: “An apology is insufficient given his history of racism, sexism and anti-Semitism. No words will change his image as an out-of-control racist.”

Even Pop culture expert Peter Shankman added, “Second time? Same venom? It will be a lot harder for him in Hollywood.”

Actress Afshan Azad, who played the role of Padma Patil in ”Harry Potter”, has pleaded for violence charges against her father and brother to be dropped.

Azad, 22, is said to be distraught at the thought of them going to jail, and she has made several attempts to retract a statement in which she accused the two men of threatening to kill her.

“I don”t want them to go to jail,” she said.

But the Crown Prosecution Service insisted that they would go ahead with the case against Abdul Azad, 54, and his 28-year-old son Ashraf, reports the Daily Express.

Both face charges of threatening to kill Afshan while Ashraf is also accused of causing his sister actual bodily harm.

They are on bail following an incident on May 21 during which Afshan, a Muslim, was allegedly beaten and throttled during a “family honour” row after she was heard talking on the phone to her Hindu boyfriend.

She immediately fled from her home in Longsight, Manchester, and made a complaint to police.

The two men were arrested and remanded in custody until June 29, when they appeared before the city”s magistrates via a video link.

Afshan was present in court accompanied by an Asian man and was said to be “highly delighted” when her father and brother were granted bail.

Her friends claimed she was “deeply upset and in turmoil” at the prospect of them being jailed.

“This is a desperately sad situation and she has never wanted her father and brother to be locked up,” Ashraf Azad”s solicitor John Wolfson said.

“She has tried on three occasions to retract her statement and has pleaded with the Crown Prosecution Service not to proceed.

“I sincerely hope for the family”s sake that this can be quickly and happily resolved. My client and his father have already denied the charges and will maintain that plea,” he stated.

But the CPS insisted they will continue to press for a conviction.

“A victim can retract a statement at any time but it does not follow that charges will be dropped,” a spokeswoman said.

“The Crown Prosecution Service will pursue the charges and July 12 has been fixed for the men to be committed for trial,” she added.

Broadway stage show Shrek The Musical is scheduled to open in the West End next year, the Theatre Royal has announced.

The production, which scooped a Tony award for best costume, is to make its London debut in May, reports the BBC.

The show ran for over 12 months in New York but closed after dwindling ticket sales.

Performance dates are due to be announced shortly and tickets will be on sale from October 1.

Actor Robert Pattinson has revealed that he perfected his US accent for the ‘Twilight’ films by copying his favourite rap stars.

“I used to want to be a rapper when I was 14,” the Sun quoted him as saying in Oprah Winfrey”s chat show.

“I have a lot of recordings. I used to do an American accent,” he added.

He even joked and said, “Kristen thinks I do the most terrible accent.”

A South African court has dropped a marijuana-smoking case against US socialite Paris Hilton.

The multi-millionaire socialite was detained for interrogation over the issue, but her Los Angeles-based rep has said that the case against her has been dropped.

“I can confirm that the incident was a complete misunderstanding and it was actually another person in the group who did it,” Radaronline quoted her rep Dawn Miller as saying.

“The case has been dropped against Paris and no charges will be made,” he added.

In fact, African officials have apologised for their confusion.

“The authorities have apologized for wrongfully accusing her since she had nothing to do with the incident,” added Miller.

Hilton was ordered to appear before a special court sanctioned to deal with World Cup crime.

There, the heiress was reportedly told police had dropped their complaint.

However, one person in Hilton’s group pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay a small fine.

‘Toxic’ singer Britney Spears is not concerned about allegations that she abused her two sons it has emerged.

According to Fox News, a source close to Spears said that the claims by bodyguard Fernando Flores were not true, as the singer is never alone with her kids.

“There are always people around Britney, nannies and such, so she is never alone with the boys, and would never even have the opportunity to do something like that. She’s very loving of the kids,” the New York Post quoted the source as saying.

Neither Spears nor her manager, Larry Rudolph, were concerned about the allegations because they were simply “unfounded”.

Another source, who previously worked with the starlet, agreed that she is the target of a bitter former employee upset by the loss of his job.

“Britney may have been a little out of control herself sometimes, but never would harm her babies, never in a million years would she hurt them,” the insider added.
