Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie was rushed to hospital after hitting her head while filming a stunt for her new spy film Salt.

The 33-year-old actress was left bleeding and taken to the hospital in Long Island, New York, reports the Sun.

According to the reports, the actress has been left with a cut between the eyes.

A spokesperson for the Sony pictures said that she was checked over “as a precautionary measure” and is “fine” after the incident.
