Sharon Stone had once forced the filmmakers to mutilate a spider, it has been revealed.

In his autobiography, ‘Ernie’, Hollywood legend Ernest Borgnine revealed that during the making of Wes Craven horror movie “Deadly Blessing,” Stone was asked to so a scene with very large ‘tarantula’, but the sultry actress was so scared to act with the spider that she had its pincers removed.
PETA president Ingrid Newkirk, who slammed Stone for wearing fur, said that the actress should change her name to ”Heart of Stone.”
“She chose to make a tiny insect an amputee. Perhaps she should change her name legally to ”Heart of Stone,”” New York Post quoted Newkirk, as saying.
Meanwhile, Stone’’s rep, Cindi Berger, said, “If the tarantula was a male, we could add him to her list of her extraordinary leading men, including Richard Chamberlain, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Richard Gere & Dustin Hoffman.”
