Ronnie Wood’’s ex Jo feared he would ‘drop dead due to drinking’

Despite their break-up, Ronnie Wood’’s ex-wife Jo is still concerned about the rocker and has revealed that she spent years fearing her partner would ‘drop dead because of his drinking.’
The musician divorced his wife of 23 years in 2009 for young Russian waitress Ekaterina Ivanova.
Jo, who has always been tormented by the Rolling Stones star’’s alcohol addiction, hopes his reported admission to rehab last month will help him kick booze for good.
“I was constantly worried he”d drop dead because of his drinking, and I never knew when he was going to go mad because there was no alcohol in the house. I was very protective and I didn”t want anyone to see the seriousness of his addiction. It was stressful,” the Daily Star quoted her as saying.
“For him to become sober he needs to go into rehab. I don”t think he’’s strong enough to do it himself. But I hope he does stay sober. He’’s such a sweet man when he is,” she added.
Jo said that she’s worried for Wood since he split from Ivanova in December (09), but she’’s adamant she couldn”t ever rekindle her relationship with the rocker.
“I think we all knew it would end in tears, but I worry about Ronnie. He’’s not good on his own. I liked that he had someone to take care of him. Now I worry he’’s a loose cannon,” she said.
“I loved him and thought we”d grow old together, but knowing he”d been with someone else for 18 months… I couldn”t live with him again. I can”t imagine being with him now. I”ve come out from his shadow,” she added.

Leonardo DiCaprio studied the mentally ill and watched several dark documentaries to perfect his performance in the new thriller Shutter Island.
The Titanic actor took to research to master his role of a detective who tries to solve a missing persons mystery in an asylum.
“There was a tremendous amount of research done involving the entrapments of mental illness and the suffering that people go through, so it led me to watch a lot of different documentaries on mental illness,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying.
“For a few weeks there, it was some of the most hardcore film experiences I”ve ever had. It was like reliving trauma in a way. It was pretty intense,” he added.
The star further continued: “We were surrounded by it (mental illness) every day. We were surrounded by dilapidated walls of an old mental institution. We had somebody there who was guiding us through the history of mental illness, the pathways of treating it and the different forms of treatment.”

Actress Jessica Alba has confessed she never wanted to walk down the aisle.
The Good Luck Chuck star revealed she gave her husband Cash Warren a hard time when he tried talking her into it.
“I had a hard time agreeing with marriage at all because I feel like its been warped,” the Daily Star quoted her as telling Cosmopolitan magazine.
“Originally, it was two families coming together to make a stronger family. It was about survival – not love or soul mates. And now the way they market marriage – even as a kid through Disney movies – is that it’’s all about Prince Charming sweeping you off your feet.
“There’’s this mentality that you need the big dress and the big day – the day every girl gets to be a princess. I didn”t agree with any of that. This tradition of obeying your husband like he’’s your king? It’’s a load of c**p. Love and honor, yes. But you should love and honor yourself too, and all your friends.

Katy Perry has been slammed by her Twitter fans after posting a raunchy photograph of an emerging teenager and calling her “fresh meat”.
The I Kissed A Girl singer posted a photograph of the 17-year-old singer Sky Ferreira that showed the teen with her legs apart and just a water bottle preserving her modesty.
“I like em right before they”re famous… Fresh meat,” the Daily Star quoted Perry as saying on the popular micro-blogging website.
The remark left her followers reeling, with many accusing the songbird of stooping low.
One fan wrote: “What’’s going on Katy? What’’s happened to your class?”

Charlie Sheen charged for domestic violence

Actor Charlie Sheen has been indicted with a felony menacing charge and two misdemeanors following a tiff with wife Brooke Mueller on Christmas Day.
However, the couple has reunited after judge eased the terms of a restraining order so the actor may now return home with his wife and their two young sons. Both of them appeared in an Aspen, Colo., court.
“Charlie and Brooke kissed and hugged and looked pretty happy to get beyond this hurdle,” People magazine quoted Mueller’’s lawyer Yale Galanter as saying.
“They are on their way home to Los Angeles together,” Galanter added.
“They finally got their restraining order lifted. They”re finally able to communicate,” said Sheen’’s attorney, Richard Cummins.
“You can imagine how hard it is to be married and not have any communication for some time. They”re heading out to California so they can they work on their issues between them, and take care of their children and move forward with their lives,” he added.
